I'm wife to Tobin and mommy to Maelie. When I'm not busy chasing the cutest little girl in the world, I love to drink coffee, hang out with friends, strum my guitar, sing...and write. A lot.

I'll be blogging at the Patch about being the new girl in town and everything I'm learning (and loving!) about a place I never thought could be home. But it is. 

Occasionally, you'll get to hear from the other part of my heart, and I'll tell you stories from the five years my husband and I spent in Indonesia, which I consider my second home. You won't want to miss reading about adventures like my first surfing lesson, driving a motorbike in a city with no "rules", and using a "squatty potty" for the first time!
