Dear Friends,

As you know, the topic of Pension Reform in Illinois is a critical issue, and it's important that we all get involved in this discussion.

Tomorrow in Skokie there will be an open forum where officials, educators and residents are invited to listen a discussion on the matter. The event is free and is sponsored by the Illinois Policy Institute, a non-partisan leading organization that promotes discussion on local policy issues.

As an academic, I have been invited to participate in the Forum, as part of the panel session, and I would be glad if you also decide to attend and be part of this event.

EVENT:
LOCAL PENSION ACCOUNTABILITY TOUR

Date: Monday, September 10th

Time:7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Location: Niles North High School Auditorium

9800 Lawler Avenue, Skokie, IL 60077

Host: Illinois Policy Institute

Please see the attached link for extra detailed info. about the event.

Hi Cynthia,

You are brave. I read in your comments that you are pro-school-choice. I wonder if you have heard about the Illinois Policy Institute. This is a non-partisan organization, and they are now coordinating efforts to promote the idea in Illinois:
