Local news is the most interesting news because it affects my daily life. What's happening with the school board? What's with the new restaurant in town? Every day, I look forward to sharing what I find out with our readers.

When I'm not reporting and writing news, I can usually be found in one of two places: in my home office writing my novel, or in the kitchen cooking and dreaming of writing a cookbook. 

Four of the most interesting people I know live with me: my husband of almost 25 years and our three kids who are 20, 17, and 14. We also have a cat with Alzheimer's.
