A woman on McHenry County's Top Ten Fugititve list since June was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 2, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. McHenry County Sheriff Keith Nygren announced Thursday the arrest of Sarah E. Frye, also known as Sarah E. Weed. Frye, 32, was wanted by the Sheriff’s Office for endangering the life of a child and theft. She also was wanted on a felony theft arrest warrant from Winnebago County, Ill., a civil arrest warrant from Ogle County, Ill., and a traffic arrest warrant from Rockford, Nygren stated in a press release. The Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 16, 2007, obtained an arrest warrant for Frye for not successfully completing stipulations for a 2004 theft and an endangering-the-life-of-a-child case.
