Note: The following information was obtained from Lake in the Hills Police arrest and incident reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Mahish M. Islam, 20, 10916 Sawgrass Ln., Huntley, was arrested at 4:36 p.m. Monday, May 13, and charged with possession of 2.5 to 10 grams cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Islam was arrested at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Rd. He was released on bond. Richard A. Pack, 37, 8813 Route 31 apt. D, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 10:47 p.m. Monday, May 13, and charged with two counts of domestic battery and one count criminal damage to property. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Matthew T. Booth, 34, 128 Brook St., Algonquin, was arrested March 26, at 4:06 p.m. in the 700 block of Mohican Trail. He was charged with possession of between 2.5 to 10 grams cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on bond. Sergio D. Saravia, 29, 124 W. Oakmont Dr., Hoffman Estates, was arrested at 4:54 p.m. March 24 and charged with driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle without insurance. He was released on bond. A 27-year-old Cary man who lost his 5-foot long pet alligator during a drug bust in October 2011 has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge, according to the Daily Herald. Nicholas R. Cosmano was sentenced last month to one year of conditional discharge, $4,400 in fines, 40 hours of community service, to take part in drug treatment and submit to random drug tests, according to online McHenry County court records. Cosmano lives in the 7200 block of Owl Way and his pet alligator—a female—"was picked up by the McHenry County Animal Control Office and turned over to the Chicago Herpetological Society," according to the Daily Herald.
