Lynn Hammerlund of Lake in the Hills got to live out a lifelong dream last week when she appeared on two episodes of Jeopardy.
They don't call it five minutes of fame for nothing. For Lynn Hammerlund of Lake in the Hills, her five minutes came over this past week when she appeared on two episodes of Jeopardy. It was a lifelong dream of the Judson University professor, who is also the president of the Algonquin Area Public Library Board, to appear on the game show. She won Thursday's episode, netting $22,500. She came in third during Friday's episode. After celebrating her win and reveling in the excitement from her two-day run, real life began to creep back in by Sunday as her "five minutes of fame whooshed by."
