A 47-year-old Lake in the Hills man faces an aggravated stalking charge for accusations he stalked or harassed a former girlfriend, according to the Daily Herald. A Cook County Judge ordered a $200,000 bond for Bryant Smith, who lives in the 0 to 100 lock of Woodland Road in Lake in the Hills, who had been in custody since December for violating an order of protection, according to the article.

A dentist with a local connection is accused of a concocting an elaborate lie that caused a fellow oral surgeon to fear for his, and his family’s, safety, according to Crain’s Chicago. A lawsuit has been filed in Cook County by the oral surgeon, Dr. Sunil Sinha, a principal in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Chicago P.C., against veteran oral surgeon Dr. Anthony Frer, an independent contractor with Sinha’s practice who also works part-time for McHenry Dental Specialists, according to Crain’s Chicago.
