Chocolate Fest: Just in Time for Easter

The Congregational Church of Algonquin will host its 3rd Annual Heavenly Chocolate Fest on March 23.

If you are looking for a sweet pick-me-up—or a special treat for this Easter — the 3rd Annual Heavenly Chocolate Fest this weekend may have just the thing.  The festival that celebrates all things chocolate and sweet will be held at the Congregational Church of Algonquin, 109 Washington St. in Algonquin, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday.  Area vendors and members of the church will be selling goodies and there will also be live cooking demonstration that will feature chocolate and it's many uses.  Admission is free.

Between the kids' haul from trick or treating to the leftover candy we didn't get to give away, we have a small mountain on the kitchen table.
