It's First Friday at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park
First Friday evening offers art, music and short-film presentation.
Today is "First Friday" at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake. First Friday is a monthly artistic event held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Dole Mansion, 401 Country Club Rd. The special evenings are free, family friendly and open to the general public, said Lakeside Advancement Coordinator Erin McElroy. In addition to three art exhibits on display, today's First Friday features live musical entertainment, tasty treats and a cash bar for guests 21-years-old and up. Artist Angela Swan Local artist Angela Swan will exhibit her photography and sculpture. The Sage Gallery features Swan's fine art photography and her JumpShots!
