Algonquin Township covers about 1/3 of McHenry County, considering how large Algonquin Township is very few people actually vote. I tried to change that by walking precincts, and meeting my neighbors. a great website to get up to date reports is mcvote,org, you can also find your precinct and voting place.

I appreciate the posting of this story about the all to brief life of a brilliant young man, Aaron…Read More Swartz. -Depression is a common problem that can show up in any life, but for some people it is indeed life threatening. In in this case it proved to be a fatal illness. Yes, there were other circumstances here, including an federal legal charge. -But, respectfully I find "commits suicide" an insensitive phrase to put in the headline. It seems to put forth the idea that this was simply a voluntary and willful act. With severe depression, this is rarely the case. Joshua F. Mark, LCSW
