Algonquin Road Surgery Center is a multi-specialty, outpatient facility that opened in 2002 as a joint venture of Sherman Health Systems, Centegra Health Systems and a group of local physicians. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, private pre-operative areas, three operating rooms, and dedicated recovery areas. Patients with a variety of surgical needs can be treated at ARSC. These include ear-nose-and-throat situations and issues of the hand and wrist. Hernia repair, colonscopy, and tubal ligation are available, as are knee, shoulder and elbow arthroscopy and all podiatric procedures. Cosmetic surgery such as facelift, liposuction, and breast augmentation is also done at the Algonquin Road Surgery Center.
