TGIF Algonquin and Lake in the Hills!

There are two annual holiday events planned in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills this weekend.

Tonight, Santa will make his arrival in Lake in the Hills via a giant red fire truck (lights flashing, horn blaring upon arrival!) provided by the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Department.

He and Mrs. Claus will light the "Festival of Trees." This is a great event, and always packed with very excited children. Read more about it below.

The festivities move over to Algonquin on Saturday night when the village hosts the annual Holiday Rock on the Fox, which includes a ceremonial tree lighting, as well, music and fun activities. See more below.

Festival of Trees, Santa's Arrival in LITH

Inside, kids and parents can join Santa for a snack, photograph in front of the village hall fireplace and an opportunity to share Christmas wish lists wit the big guy in red.
