Week Ahead: Algonquin Home & Business Expo; Zombie Run
It's going to be an action-packed week: Expo and the Zombie run.
Greetings Algonquin and Lake in the Hills!
It's going to be one beautiful and busy week!
For starters, the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Chamber will host its annual Home and Business Expo and Cafe at Jacobs High School on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The Expo is open for the public to meet and see over 90 exhibitors.
Attendees can plan their 2013 home and business project needs, sample cuisine from area restaurants, experience Crafters and Farmer's Market, and the children's activity area.

The Home of the Sparrow is hosting the first-ever Zombie 5K Run, 1 Mile walk this Saturday at Three Oaks Recreation Area in Crystal Lake. Participants can run dressed as a zombie, with the zombies or among the zombies!

The Home of the Sparrow is hosting the Zombie 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Three Oaks Recreation Area, 5517 Route 14, Crystal Lake.
The Home of the Sparrow plans to confine the Living Dead to the restricted Zombie Zone Area, but needs your help in making sure the zombies don’t escape! ''
