LITH Festival of Trees, Algonquin's Holiday Rock on the Fox this Weekend

Tree lighting ceremonies, visits with Santa, and fun activities planned for this weekend in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills.

Greetings Algonquin and Lake in the Hills!

Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, it's time to move full speed ahead into the next holiday.

This Friday, Santa will make his arrival in Lake in the Hills via a giant red fire truck (lights flashing, horn blaring upon arrival!) provided by the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Department.

He and Mrs. Claus will light the "Festival of Trees." This is a great event, and always packed with very excited children. Read more about it below.

The festivities move over to Algonquin on Saturday night when the village hosts the annual Holiday Rock on the Fox, which includes a ceremonial tree lighting, as well, music and fun activities. See more below.
