Wind Chill Warning Downgraded to an Advisory

Wind chill warning for McHenry County has been canceled and replaced with an advisory.

I'm taking this as a good sign....

The National Weather Service in Chicago at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday downgraded the Wind Chill Warning for McHenry County to a Wind Chill Advisory through 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28. 

Other counties include under the advisory are Lake, Kane, DuPage, Lee, Boone, Ogle, Winnebago, DeKalb, Cook, Kendall, and Will. 

Winds from the west will be 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph Tuesday afternoon and evening. 

Wind chill values will reach -15 to -25 this afternoon, and between -20 to -30 tonight and early Wednesday morning.
