Tommy is being raised by his two wonderful grandparents, since his mom is unable to care for him. They also are raising Tommy’s three other siblings, while both maintaining full-time jobs to keep their family functioning. His grandparents recognized the need for more positive support systems for Tommy and contacted Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.

His grandparents describe Tommy as a “helper” who enjoys helping them with chores, grocery shopping, and other projects around the home. He also enjoys playing outside, going on the computer, and playing board games.
