In fact, renters have the most new-construction suburban options from which to choose in years. From transit-oriented developments in the inner rings to high-end luxury in the western suburbs, here is a look at some of the newest apartment communities to fit any lifestyle:

 

Algonquin: Algonquin Square

One-bedroom, two-bedroom, and two-plus den plans are available at this nearly complete community located in Algonquin, with floor plans ranging from 791 to 1,292 square feet. Evanston: Central Station

Delivering later this summer, this luxury midrise will include 80 residences and more than 10,000 square feet of street-level retail just steps from Evanston’s Central Street Metra station.

Homes range from 558 to 1,509 square feet and include loft, studio, one bedroom/one bath, two bedroom/one bath, two bedroom/two bath, and three bedroom/two bath plans. All residences will feature granite countertops in kitchens and baths, stainless steel appliances, wood floors, ceramic tile in the baths, high-end plumbing and light fixtures, private outdoor space, individually controlled gas forced-air furnaces and central air-conditioning, and in-unit washers and dryers. 

Luxury amenities include a courtyard with heated swimming pool, BBQ stations, fire pit, lounge areas, dog run, and bocce court. The building will also offer a community room with a catering kitchen, separate business center and conference room; a state-of-the-art theatre room; and a large fitness center and yoga area.
