Pack 368 Spring Recruiting Roundup Recap

Cub Scout Pack 368

Last week Cub Scout Pack 368 of Algonquin held their annual Spring Recruiting Roundup.  The purpose of the roundup is to introduce scouting to next year’s Tigers and other potential new scouts.

This year the Scouts and their guests were treated to an exciting reptile show from The Traveling World of Reptiles. The boys participated in an interactive show featuring iguanas, snakes, tarantulas, turtles, alligators and frogs.  Not only did the scouts learn about the animals, they were able to touch and even hold some of them! Some members of the audience even got the chance to be part of the show.  One scout had a tarantula on his head and another had several snakes crawling all over him!

The Spring Recruiting Roundup was a lot of fun for everyone who attended...including parents!  This is just one of the many fun activities that we do in Cub Scouts every year.
