Your Guide to the Rockin' Ribfest

The Lake in the Hills Rotary Club's Rockin' Ribfest will be held from Thursday, July 5 through Sunday, July 8 at Sunset Park.

The Lake in the Hlls Rotary Club's Rockin' Ribfest will be held Thursday, July 5 through Sunday, July 8 at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road in Lake in the Hills. 

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Grounds will close at 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Food and beverage service begins shortly after the gates open each day. 

Tickets are $5 per person for those 13 years and older (12 and under are free). Active military members with a military I.D. will also receive free entrance to the Ribfest. 

Patch.com will be out at the Ribfest all weekend long. Be sure to stop by our booth! We will be giving away prizes and can also answer any questions you have about Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Patch. We look forward to meeting you!

  • The Bands: Patch.com talks with Anton Cosmo, the son of Fran Cosmo. Both are former band members of the hit band Boston and will be performing at the Rockin' Ribfest. Read more about the band as well as other bands performing at this year's Ribfest.
