PHOTOS: LITH Disc Golf Course Grand Opening

The new disc golf course for Lake in the Hills opened in late May at Linda K. Fischer Park.

Village of Lake in the Hills officials and members of the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday evening at the newly opened disc golf course.

The disc golf course officially opened on May 25 at Linda K. Fischer Park — located at Miller Road and Grafton Drive in Lake in the Hills.

It is free to use and open daily from sunrise to sunset.

The nine-hole disc golf course has a length of 2,580 feet. The disc golf course would be comparable in size to other area disc golf courses, such as the course at Randall Oaks in West Dundee.

The Lake in the Hills Rotary Club funded the disc golf course.
