Jacobs Takes NILAX State Title

Jacobs High School Lacrosse team took on Cary-Grove at the championship in Aurora on Saturday.

The Jacobs High School lacrosse team took the NILAX Lacrosse State Championship over the weekend.

Jacobs beat rival Cary-Grove 8-3 in the championship Saturday at Aurora University in Aurora, Dave Ehrhardt, a parent of a Jacobs Lacrosse team member, told Patch in an email.

Jacobs finished with a record of 15-2, Ehrhardt said.

Those scoring for Jacobs High School during the championship game were: Matt Ehrhardt, David VanVlierbergen, Sahand Tsay, Kevin Eikeland, Alex Cresenti, with two goal; and Brenton Cosden, with two goals, Ehrhardt said.
