Jacobs Prep Sports Preview - Friday, Jan. 6
Today's schedule includes a home wrestling match, and girls traveling to Huntley for basketball.
As school resumes so, too, do the busy winter sports schedules. Several athletic teams representing H.D. Jacobs High School are scheduled to compete today.
Jacobs boys wrestling teams – freshmen, junior varsity and varsity – host Cary-Grove at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Dr., Algonquin. Freshmen and JV wrestlers take to the matt first starting at 5:30 p.m. Varsity wrestlers are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

On the road: Jacobs girls basketball teams travel to nearby Huntley. The girls Freshmen A and sophomore teams play at 5:30 p.m. Girls Freshmen B and girls varsity take on their respective Red Raiders opponents at 7 p.m. at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Rd., Huntley.
