Jacobs Earns Share of FVC Title, Plays Dundee-Crown This Friday

For the first time since 1979, the Jacobs football team has laid claim to at least a share of the Fox Valley Conference championship title following a 27-20 win Friday against Huntley, according to McHenryCountySports.com.

Jacobs (6-2, 5-0 Fox Valley Conference) will take on Dundee-Crown High School this Friday at (6-2, 3-2 Fox Valley Conference) this Friday at 7:15 p.m. at Jacobs High School, according to the Illinois High School Association website. 

Dundee-Crown and Jacobs are the only teams in the Fox Valley Conference so far that have clinched a play-off berth. Play-off pairings for the first round will be announced this Saturday night on the IHSA website.
