Canoe Camp Begins

The McHenry County Conservation District holds a Canoe Camp for teens ages 13 to 16 years old. Attendants will learn basic canoe skills such as proper paddle strokes, steering and canoe rescue techniques, while exploring sections of the Fox River and Lake Atwood. This camp meets 7/5 through 7/8, with an overnight campout the evening of 7/7. Registration required.
