Bowling With A Mission

This summer, Lifeline Christian Church is planning to send their first mission team to the Dominican Republic – and you can be a part of making a global impact in a community where the average annual household income is just $5,600. The work will include construction on a new medical facility and partnership and programming development with local leaders and churches.

On Wednesday, June 6 (7:00 PM) Brunswick Zone XL in Algonquin is hosting a fundraiser event to help send the team and there are two easy ways you can help.

Sponsor A Bowler

Each of our Mission Team members will be looking for sponsors to pledge a per-pin amount in a bowl-a-thon

That night you may pledge per pin or a straight dollar pledge for two hours of bowling (with a target of approx 3 games and 300 pins).

From July 31-August 7 the team of eight from Lifeline will be working around Santiago, D.R. with G.O. Ministries (www.GO-Ministries.org) to share hope and add value to individuals and families there. G.O. Ministries is a non-profit organization that develops partnerships with churches, businesses, individuals and local leaders to work together serving thousands of people through church planting, nutrition centers, medical clinics, sports outreach, primary schools, ongoing training, water purification projects, and kingdom businesses.

From the beginning as a new church just over a year ago, Lifeline has placed a high value on developing lasting partnerships both locally and globally. Very early on Lifeline developed a growing relationship with places like local School District 300 to serve families in need right here in our own backyard. But in a world that is increasingly connected on a global scale, Lifeline determined from the start that the definition of “our community” extended far beyond the closest geographic neighborhoods. And so it is with great anticipation that they take this next step in advancing the simple mission of sharing HOPE and adding VALUE.

Lifeline Christian Church is a new non-denominational Christian Church located in Algonquin, IL devoted to a simple mission of sharing HOPE and adding VALUE to our community. If you would like to help fund this 2012 Dominican Republic Mission Team, your tax-deductible gifts may also be given online at www.LifelineCC.org.
