Athlete of the Week: Jessie Tennant

Tennant is a senior on the Golden Eagles varsity girls basketball team.

Scott Germanetti: How long have you been playing basketball?

Tennant: I've been playing since seventh grade.

S.G.: Who or what got you involved in basketball?

Tennant: My cousins. When we were little we were always playing sports.

S.G.: Why do you enjoy playing?

Tennant: Because i like sports and my friends are on the team.

S.G.: What position do you play?

Tennant: Usually post, but occasionally guard.

S.G.: What has been your favorite game this season and why?

Tennant: The game against Wheeling because it was our first win on our home court this season.

S.G.: What was the most difficult game you played this season and why?

Tennant: Against Crown because we were in it the whole game and then we just lost at the end.

S.G.: What has been your proudest accomplishment in basketball?

Tennant: When i got four 3-pointers in one game.

S.G.: Do you plan on playing next year.

Tennant: No.
