If your family is looking for an extra special way to spend time with Santa this year, consider the District 158 Education Foundation’s annual Santa’s Fireside Feast and Breakfast with Santa events.

Santa’s Fireside Feast will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road, Lake in the Hills.

Families are invited to join Santa and Mrs. Claus for a delicious dinner. Two pasta buffet bars will be set up featuring pasta, a variety of sauces, and more. A green garden salad, breadsticks, beverages and Mrs. Claus’ special dessert cookies will be served tableside.

The District 158 Faculty Jazz Band will perform live holiday music throughout the evening as children visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Buddy the Elf, Frosty the Snowman, and a few surprise characters. Children will also receive a goodie bag to take home.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 2-12 (children under 2 are free) and can be purchased by visiting the Education Foundation webpage at district158.org/education-foundation.

Can’t make it on Friday night?  Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for breakfast on Saturday, December 1. Two session times are available for breakfast from 8 to 9:30 a.m. or 10 to 11:30 a.m. also at Marlowe Middle School.

Santa’s elves will be serving up pancakes and French toast sticks, sausage, a variety of fruits, milk, juice and more. After breakfast, children can visit with Santa, make a craft, play some fun holiday games, and decorate a cookie to take home.

Tickets are $7 per person (children 12 months and younger are free) and can be purchased by visiting the Education Foundation webpage at district158.org/education-foundation.

Basket raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at both events for $2 each. The baskets, made by the staff of each school, will be raffled off on Saturday, December 1 at 11:45 a.m. Winners do not need to be present at the time of the drawing.

Be sure to bring your camera to capture those special moments!

All proceeds from the events will benefit the Education Foundation’s programs designed to inspire learning by providing resources to enhance and enrich student achievement and learning.
