Two Algonquin kids and four other area children received a Conley Coyote PAWS Award for the week ending in March 25.
All of the children attend Conley Elementary School in Algonquin and were given the award for exemplifying a positive attitude, acting respectfully and/or working responsibly, according to a District 158 press release.
The two Algonquin students that received the award are:

- Abigal Trch, 3rd grade
- Madison Fulgenzi, 5th grade
Other area students who received the award include:
- Nathan Osberg, of LITH, 3rd grade
- Madalynn Emberton, of LITH, 4th grade
- Mariah Flores, of Huntley, 4th grade
- McKenzie Krich, of Huntley, 5th grade
The students received a gift certificate for a free individual pizza from Nick’s Pizza in Crystal Lake or Elgin, according to the press release.
