Primrose School Opens in Algonquin

The organization offers an accredited preschool program.

Algonquin’s newest preschool—, located at 2300 County Line Road—opened this week.

According to an article in the Daily Herald, the school is 11,000 square feet, has four enclosed playgrounds and can serve up to 184 students for children 12 and younger. Tuition can cost upwards of $1,300 for full-day enrollment, five days a week, the article state, but varies with a child’s age.

Primrose uses a Balanced Learning® curriculum, which integrates academics, play and character development — with a big emphasis on the latter. The organization boasts about 225 schools across the country, most recently opening a school in South Elgin. Another is in progress in Naperville.
