Martin Elementary School Hosts 10th Annual Art Show This Week
The art show will be held on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
The Martin Elementary School 10th Annual Art Show will take place Wednesday and Thursday nights.
The art show will highlight artwork produced by students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and will be held from 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25 and Thursday, April 26 at Martin Elementary School, 10920 Reed Road in Lake in the Hills.
Admission is free. Visitors to the art show will get the chance to check out "some special art," including paper-mache sculptures, string art and oil pastel compositions, according to a District 158 press release.

A Scholastic Book Fair will also be taking place at the same time as the art show. The book fair "will give parents and community members the chance to purchase grade level/reading level appropriate books for students to enjoy during the upcoming summer," according to the press release.
Proceeds from the book fair will be used to purchase additional materials for the school’s Learning Resource Center/Library, according to the press release.
