Jacobs' Seniors Earn Perfect Score on ACT
Only one-tenth of one percent of students that take the ACT will earn the top composite score of 36.
Two Jacobs High School seniors joined the ranks of an elite few after earning a perfect score on a recent ACT test.
Chad Franzen, son of David and Linda Franzen, and Isaac Frankel, son of Roddy and Hong Frankel, both earned a top composite score of 36 on their ACTs, according to a District 300 press release.
Among the graduating high school classes of 2011, only 704 of more than 1.6 million students across the U.S. earned a 36 on their ACTs. Roughly one-tenth of 1 percent will earn the score in any given year, according to the news release.

The ACT test consists of sections in English, mathematics, reading and science and each test is scored on a scale of 1 to 36. ACT scores are accpeted by all major U.S. colleges.
