The Art of Storytelling

Everyone loves a good story.  We internalize and remember stories.  When you tell a great story – you differentiate yourself and create a lasting and memorable impression.  In this session, learn how to craft your unique story.

From Speaker to Trainer

Many businesses and organizations have realized the importance of training.  Properly trained people increase productivity and make fewer mistakes.  In this session, you'll discover the steps involved in preparing and presenting a training program using adult learning principles.  You'll also learn the roles of trainers and the differences between public speaking and training, and have practice experience in facilitating discussion and conducting exercises.

Powerful Gestures & Vocal Variety

In these tough economic times, your skills are even more important.  Having the competitive edge may be what lands you a new job or makes the difference in winning the deal.  The first way of graining more personal appeal is to express feelings through your face and the tone of your voice.  Once you’ve learned and mastered these techniques – watch out – there’s no stopping you!

Master Impromtu Speaking

How many times have spoken off-the-cuff and then later wished you’d said something else?  Developing and honing this important skill will give you the confidence you need in a variety of areas, both personally and professionally.

Each seminar will run for fourty-five minutes.  The program is free and open to Toastmasters and guests.  Advanced registration required.
