There wil be a pasta dinner, laser tag dodge ball, baggo and other games available for families during the event Friday evening.

Eastview Elementary School will host an event Friday evening to benefit Alzheimer's disease and honor a former Eastview kindergarten teacher.

Action to End Alzheimer’s will take place Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Eastview Elementary School, 540 Longwood Drive in Algonquin.

"All proceeds will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association in the name of Barb Hinkle, a former member of Eastview’s outstanding staff, who taught kindergarten for many years," according to an e-mail from Eastview Elementary School Principal Jim Zursin. "It is a pleasure for us to honor her in this way."
