Dundee Township Rotary Club Offering Scholarships

The Dundee Township Rotary Club is accepting applications for scholarships.

Dundee Township Rotary Club has announced scholarship opportunities. 

Since 1980, the Rotary Club has awarded over $715,000 in scholarships to area students who live in Dundee Township, according to a news release.  

“The primary goal of our club’s fundraising proceeds is to give back to local students and provide much needed scholarships,” said Dr. Melisa Rothenberger, scholarship committee chairman. “Last year, we were proud to award $30,000 in scholarships to nineteen local students.”

High school seniors are encouraged to apply for a Dundee Township Rotary Club scholarship as soon as possible.  

Applications are available at Dundee-Crown High School-Carpentersville, Harry D. Jacobs High School-Algonquin, St. Edward Central Catholic High School-Elgin, Hampshire High School, Westminster Christian School- Elgin and Elgin Academy.

Deadline for all applications is Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
