Dundee-Crown High School girls basketball coach will not return next season.
Dundee-High School administrators informed Michelle Russell — who has coached the varsity team since 2008 — that "should not be retained" as the coach in the future, according to the Daily Herald.
The record for the team during Russell's five seasons was 32-103, but the team had a 15-11 record in 2012, according to McHenryCountySports.com. Russell told McHenry County Sports she was "extremely surprised and shocked" by the decision to let her go.
