Dundee-Crown Comedy Show Fundraiser a Hit

Algonquin teen A.J. Lubecker organized the D.C. Comedy Jam, which was held on May 1 at Dundee-Crown High School.

Over 200 people stopped out to a comedy show organized by an Algonquin teen last week at Dundee-Crown High School.

A.J. Lubecker, organizer of the D.C. Comedy Jam held on May 1, said the event raised $744 for for Students Assisting Family Emergencies or S.A.F.E. Three big boxes of canned foods were also donated to S.A.F.E.

S.A.F.E. helps struggling families of Dundee-Crown students by helping them financially to do such things as paying the family's electric bill.
