District 158 OKs Teacher's Contract

The Northwest Herald reports on Thursday's District 158 school board meeting.

The District 158 school board met last night and approved a contract with its teachers' union that would mean salary freezes for many, according to the Northwest Herald.

The NW Herald also reported that the "salary lane schedule" will stay the same, which means teachers who are working on advancing their education "will continue to be eligible for raises." Supervision duty positions will see hourly pay cut in half.
