Crystal Lake South Celebrates Prom

Crystal Lake South High School students dazzled in an array of bright colors for the annual Junior-Senior prom.

Thirteen buses were needed to transport Crystal Lake South High School students on Friday afternoon to the prom held at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Schaumburg.

Students enjoyed an early-release day, which gave them time to prepare for the special night.

More than 40 couples met at the Boulder Ridge home of South High School senior Alexis Thompson at 3 Long Cove Ct. in Lake in the Hills. The students posed for photographs with family and friends with Boulder's 5th golf course hole as the scenic backdrop.

All prom attendees met at Crystal Lake South High School by 5:30 p.m., where they participated in the formal "prom walk-out."
