Chesak Students Honor Retiring Principal Lamb With Flash Mob Dance

Principal Chuck Lamb is retiring from Consolidated School District 158 this school year.

The 900 students at Chesak Elementary School on Tuesday participated in a creative way to honor their retiring school principal Chuck Lamb.

The students surprised Mr. Lamb with a flash mob dance near the end of the school day at Chesak, 10910 Reed Rd., Lake in the Hills, according to Lorie Woods, community relations coordinator for District 158.

Chesak's physical education teachers spent the past few weeks teaching the students and more than 60 staff members all the right dance moves for the flash mob performance, Woods stated in a release.

The group consisted of kindergartners through second graders.
