“Charger Quest” Freshman Orientation on July 27

The event will be the first opportunity for incoming Dundee-Crown freshman and their parents to receive their class schedule, student ID and their locker.

Dundee-Crown High School will welcome incoming freshman during its annual “Charger Quest” orientation from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, in the D-CHS field house, with an informational presentation to begin at 7 p.m.

The event will be the first opportunity for incoming freshman and their parents to receive their class schedule, student ID and their locker. In addition, many school staff and administrators will be on hand to welcome students and parents and answer their questions.

Freshman academy director Brian Conant said the event is very important for new students and their parents.

“This is a great opportunity for everybody to get their questions answered and get a feel for all of the great things D-CHS has to offer freshman,” Conant said.

Attendees will be able to take a school tour led by Dundee-Crown students who are a part of the school’s new freshman mentoring program. A short presentation is designed to help students and parents understand other essential information, such as bus routes and the block schedule.
