Art Show Thursday at Mackeben Elementary School

The school's annual art show will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday

Student artists in kindergarten through second grade at Mackeben Elementary School invite community members to attend the school’s Annual Art Show on Thursday, April 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Visitors to the show will get to view the many works of art based on various artists, cultures, and techniques, as well as the elements and principles of art. Each student will have approximately 3 pieces of art on display.

Special items on display will include 3D clay art works featuring Native American rattles, clay bowls, and fantastic fanciful fish.

Families can participate in creating their own works of art at the Learn to Draw and Piven Portrait tables.

In addition to the wonderful artwork on display, the Mackeben Library will host a Scholastic Book Fair. This will give parents and community members the chance to purchase books for students to enjoy during the upcoming summer.
