Algonquin Middle School, at 520 Longwood Drive in Algonquin, will hold a holiday craft fair and silent auction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 in the school's gym.
Funds from the auction raise money to support all the school activities from BETA Club, Student Counsel, AVID, 8th grade dinner/dance, and other school functions, according to the Algonquin Middle School website.
Some of the items sold include a Verizon smartphone, local business gift cards, fitness classes and much more.
The Algonquin Middle School band, chorus and orchestra playing and singing holiday music. Local food vendors will be selling food, drinks,and desserts, according to the AMS website.
