My vision for this blog is for us to generate discussion, share wisdom, celebrate successes, brainstorm challenges, and become an online, real-time local resource for one another. If your life is like mine, you may find yourself caught up in the chaos of daily life as a Mom, and may need a little verbal refreshment from time to time….it is my vision that you will find it here…
By way of introduction, I am a mom of 4 (and a half…) and though I barely have time enough in my day to think a clear thought, I know it is important for us to connect and enjoy community with one another.

I have lived in LITH for almost 8 years, I have been married for almost 11 years, I am a Christian, I home-school our two youngest daughters (7 year old twins), I work two jobs from home, and I am also an active volunteer for Safe Families (which you’ll be hearing about here soon enough!).
I am also busy (like you!) running from violin lessons, baseball camp, dance classes, grocery stores, parks, church, meetings, etc…. And while it never “seems to stop” I try to slow down enough (thanks to my darling husband) to take it all in.

Amidst the running, running, running, there is so much joy in this season of my life that I don’t want to miss a thing. I am hopeful we can also be an encouragement to one another as we seek to truly enjoy motherhood and all of its blessings, joys, and challenges.
