Keeping It Local: Smooch Boutique

There’s nothing like shopping locally owned boutiques for unique pieces you won’t find in the retail chains. That’s why I thought it would be fun to feature some of the great boutiques in the area for my local readers.

Each month I’ll take you inside a different boutique. My first stop -  Smooch Boutique in the Algonquin Commons.

Who wouldn’t love to shop in their best friend’s closet? You know the one with all the “cool clothes”. Well, that’s the feeling you’ll get when walking into Smooch Boutique! Smooch has been in business for over two years. Owned and operated by best friends, Audra and Gina, Smooch is a boutique where ladies can shop for unique one of a kind items that won’t break the bank.

This cozy boutique offers on trend fashions, accessories and footwear. You can literally walk out with a complete head-to-toe new look! Plus Audra and Gina offer a personal shopping experience every time you enter the store. They know what looks good on every body type and they’re experts with accessories.

Another great thing is Smooch receives a limited number of each piece of clothing so you won’t see yourself coming and going in clothing from Smooch like you can with other larger retail chains.

I got lost in all the chic accessories at Smooch, and I was taken by how surprisingly inexpensive most of them were. They carry an amazing assortment of necklaces, bracelets, rings, scarves, hats, mittens, and even fuzzy leg warmers. 

With the holidays coming up, it’s easy to find a “one-size-fits” all gift for that special hard to buy for friend, sister, niece or mother on your list. I particularly LOVED the adorable  fingerless mittens and fuzzy faux fur infinity scarves which came in several different color combos.
