Offices Closed for President's Day
The post office, county offices and Village Hall will be closed Monday.
Here is what will be closed Monday, which is President’s Day:
- Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate, Lake in the Hills, will be closed. The village will continue to offer its AARP tax aide and preschool.
- McHenry County offices closed Monday include: the McHenry County Government Center and the McHenry County Circuit Courthouse, both at 2200 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock, and the Workforce Center, 500 Russell Court, Woodstock.
- Most area schools are closed on Presidents Day including: District 300 schools, District 158 schools, District 155 schools and District 47 schools.
- The U.S. Postal Service offices are closed in observation of the federal holiday. There will be no regular mail delivery Monday.
- Most banks will be closed on President’s Day. Be sure to check with your bank to see if it is open.
