Western Bypass Project: IDOT Makes Progress

Getting stuck in construction traffic on Algonquin Road or Route 31 is part of the daily routine for lots of people. The Western Bypass project has tied up traffic all over the downtown and while the project will continue until next year, there is progress being made.

It's hard to tell what progress has been made when you are stuck in traffic but the Illinois Department of Transportation has a photo time line of how the project is going and provides updates on its website.
