Walsh Expected to Announce Decision on District Thursday
Congressman Joe Walsh is wavering on whether he will run in the 8th or 14th congressional district.
Joe Walsh, R-McHenry, is expected to announce which district he will run in at 7 p.m. Thursday in front of the Chicago Tea Party, according to the Northwest Herald.
According to NBC Chicago, Walsh — who represents the 8th Congressional District — announced in September he would run against 14th District Rep. Randy Hultgren. Rumors since have surfaced that he would return to the 8th district.
Walsh announced during a town hall meeting in St. Charles over the weekend he would announce where he would be running on Monday but that never did happen, according to the NW Herald.
