Village Presents Awards to Area Businesses

The 2011 Business Awards are part of the village's business retention program.

The Algonquin village board presented plaques to the recipients of the 2011 Business Awards at its Feb. 15 meeting.

The awards are part of the village’s economic development commission’s business retention program. This year marked the program’s 12th year.

“This is an important project and the reason we do this is because you are helping to make this a great community,” said John Schmitt, Algonquin's village president.
