Village Hosts Back-to-School Secondhand Sale

Those interested in selling their used items can drop them off at Village Hall on Friday.

For those looking for some good deals on back-to-school clothes, this weekend's resale at Village Hall may be their answer.

The village of Lake in the Hills will host its first-ever Back-to-School Kids and Baby Resale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

There will be toys, clothes, baby items and more, according to a village press release.

can collect 70 percent of the sale price. The remaining amount will be donated to the village of Lake in the Hills Playschool Academy.

A registration fee includes 50 tags, and tagged items can be dropped off Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at Village Hall.
