What Do You Think About Randall Improvements, a CFI?

A public meeting on the proposed improvement plan will be held at H.D. Jacobs High School in Algonquin today from 4 to 7 p.m.

The public will get to tell county officials what they think about a proposed improvement plan for Randall Road during . 

The county’s proposal would widen Randall Road to six lanes between Ackman and County Line roads. It would call for a two-legged continuous-flow intersection at Algonquin and Randall roads.

Village officials and some business owners in Lake in the Hills oppose the plan, saying they think it will draw away from businesses in Lake in the Hills. Village officials support a conventional intersection at Randall and Algonquin.
